We have some cool stuff going on this week, so keep checking back when you have the time. A taster of what you will find is below - our first guest drawn strip:

We look forward to seeing you at the new site - please feel free to give feedback and thoughts!

Also, note, that this blog, and the main website, will be now only used as a redirect - this post is the last ever!

It's been fun blogger, but now we must part ways.

Apologies

There won't be a comic this week, unless we.. do post one?

This is due to personal reasons.

Otherwise, we will return next week with some *ahem* 'special surprises'.

Comic: Scarcraft

Alternate punchline: "...Then you get... THE ZERG RUSH!"

Terry couldn't decide on the two punchlines, so he seemed to retire to World of Warcraft, sobbing.

I must also take this opportunity to wish Happy Birthday to Chris Maddison and Sarah Bingham, who both turn 22 today. We still haven't told them that they were in fact twins.. The comic is dedicated to you guys.

Guest Strips Wanted

We are currently after any artists/writers who would like to do a guest strip.

We are pretty lax on the rules and regulations for whatever you make, just as long as we can add it to the comics existing repertoire. Ideally, we want to do a 5-day-week of comics, so Maths fans, we would love to see 5 different renditions of our comic, in your own various styles. As I assume we will get less-than-5, we will work around it. This little event will happen once we have received all the interested parties messages/comics. If you are interested, contact either: jonnyg at dotgif.co.uk kreedle at dotgif.co.uk
(obviously, fill in the '@' symbol where appropriate...)

I hopefully look forward to hearing from you.

Comic: Roland Emmerich Was Right!

The mild disdain I have of Apple's newest tat cannot be contained in one single image. Make do with this:

This is neither the time or the place to go into detail of why I am so irritated by/about the iPad. Needless to say, I'm quite bored of it already, and the jokes about its name - jokes that are only 4 days old - are no longer funny. Oh, you've 'shopped an iPad onto some feminine hygiene products - clever you.

Comic: 5 Days Left...

Sorry for the delay. My personal feelings are hereby shown, regarding people who play Mass Effect 2 before I do:

This comic was brought to you via uStream and Skype. Yes, we video-conferenced the hell out of this comic.  Also, some character redesigns are on the way. Watch this space.

Now, I need sleep.

Comic: Car Trek

I still don't know why he continues to play something he complains so much about:

Perhaps that explains, in quite a graphic, alarming mental image. This is also our second Star Trek Online comic.

Also, we proofread this one, so I swear to God, if there is a spelling mistake here, I'm going to rage quit.

Comic: It's Cold Out

To celebrate the British way of having a few days of snow a year, and that snow then literally stopping everything in this country from working/moving/living, this weeks comic is set outside, IN THE SNOW!

You see, I have the moral high ground here. I have both the capability to work from home, and to 'drive on snow' - allowing me to travel to work, ergo, my life continues on as normal. No, I don't own a 4x4, I think I may just have a very whimsical attitude to it. Needless to say, don't let me drive you anywhere in the snow. You won't like it.

My parents have contributed also, by only buying the normal amount of bread, as opposed to the ridiculous panic buying that I have seen photographic evidence of..

Anyway, ultimately, at the end of the day, I am a British person, and I am here ranting about the weather. Next, I think I shall queue in an orderly fashion, at a designated location, designed for queuing.

Apologies for the lack of proofreading recently - we're totally going to fix that now..

Comic: 2007: Special Collectors Edition

2010 feeling familiar, eh? Maybe its the spate of AAA titles receiving sequels..

Whatever it might be, it seems that our only advise is to take up arms and shoot the Time Lords Miley Cyrus.
(Huh, what's that? Yeah, that was a Doctor Who reference. Huh, what's that? Yeah, I've only ever seen one episode of Doctor Who.. Like, ever).

Anyway, we are in the future now - happy new year one and all. We are going to need a new word for events that take place days/months/years from now, as we have shifted along one (so, present = past, future = present). Don't ask what 'past' means now. Maybe we could use it as a term for what 'future' meant a week ago. "We move from the future, into the past, with great hope and mirth, and.. something-or-other." I haven't properly thought this out. I hit my head quite hard this morning.

Anyway, my plans for this year - not resolutions, I might like to add: start a new comic, get a better paid job (or just a job that will last longer than March) and play the PS3 until the buttons on the controllers are worn into the PCB underneath.
