The week in news

This week has drummed up a few interesting articles.

Firstly, there has been some gorgeous concept art, hopefully for HL2-Episode 3, and which will hopefully be elaborated on next week at E3 - still a possibility despite denial from Valve honcho's. You know, the same people who promise games, then delay them. 'Those whom lie'. (Kidding).

The Apple iPhone 3G, mobileme and 2.0 software are released today. Cue internet-wide coverage, generic-guy-outside-store-with-product photo, and - although its not very PC to say - some sort of stabbing/shooting/violence upon fellow man regarding said product... I don't wish it on people, but after the 'PSP shooting' in America (God bless) and the insane attack in London - IN WHICH PSP'S WERE MENTIONED, therefore a keystone to the story, it seems that luxury technology begats violence...

1.5Tb and 500Gb hard drives have been announced for desktops and laptops respectively - thats pretty ace. Perpendicularity ftw.

Also, something that has really caught my eye is the Good Old Games concept - pay less than £6, get a classic game. "Hey, have my money, I don't care, I want to play MDK!"

WoW fever has hit hard. There is little I like to do more than to wake up, play WoW and then go to sleep - 11 hours later... While I'm at work, I like to think of playing WoW. I look forward to my first addiction-group meeting, and telling my story, and have people clap and all say "Hi John" in a soothing choiral tone. I would be thinking of being at home, playing WoW while all this happens. If I learn anything from this - its going to be self control! Dont worry folks, comics are due soon, and will not be majorly affected by extensive MMORPGWTFBBQ-ing.

(That entire paragraph was a joke, I'm a prefectly well balanced and centered individual...)

After all that reading, I'd imagine you might need to go and lay down for a while... Go on poppet, rest yer sleepy head.
