As promised

Having looked over the specs and features of the new Macbooks, I have decided that they are nice.

My aspiring career as a hardware reviewer is looking bright - remember, your first port of call for hardware advice is not here. Seriously though - and Terry will be jubilant at my decision - they are fine as market competitors, but are still to expensive for what is on offer. They are revelling in a new era of utter shiny-ness, as this Engadget photographer proved, getting himself completely in shot. He kinda looks like Napoleon Dynamite... The track pad seems unnecessary, its price is astounding, even for the baseline model and the graphics chipset is hardly an improvement - x5 faster in some games, bearing in mind that the old Intel graphics played World of Warcraft - just.

Its utterly recommended if you have a) too much money to spend, b) a thorough enjoyment of shiny reflective things (if you are a Crow for example) or c) your name is Edward Barber.

Now, if you paid for the additional content, then I apologise, I was hoping to have the next dotCommentary here for you, but I sadly failed - miserably. I will post it soon. Promise!

JB
