Following my esteemed colleagues choice to once more muse upon his wanderings in Cupertino’s orchard I promise that my retribution shall be swift and painful, atleast once I get a refund from the last band of mercenary’s I sent after him, I tell ya never hire the hit squad with the funniest names it only leads to trouble, but I digress.
But until then some musing and in order to balance out the universe a little I'm going to do something I rarely do (shut it edd, john, dj and everyone else I've ever met) and take the opposing view from my friend with the shiny chrome shrine to a man named Steve.
The iPhone 3G, in what i can only assume is a bold choice to set themselves apart from all their competitors which choose to embrace one of the main benefits of the 3rd Gen mobile communications network, will still not support video calling. But why stop there? why did people love the original device, its sleek design and good looks! who needs those, say hello to a fatter plastic iPhone! Front camera so that video calling can be added later via a software update that should have been available from launch but will inevitably be charged for? nope still not here. Support for common video formats (divx/xvid e.t.c) since flash support is still not in place? not on this product refresh, cause lets be realistic people here this is just a product refresh and not the second coming of the mobile messiah we were led to believe we received upon the original iPhones launch
That said, if the price points right, and I’m led to believe it will be, following the recent death of my trusty PDA just try and stop me buying one.
Until next time
Mornin all
T/K
P.S: Anything he can do, I can do within 10% either way normally, so my random thought of the day, why is it so hard to find a decaffeinated coffee table.
