Lets do Lunch

I'm quite excited. I've been awake for 4 hours now; partly due to the jetlag, but also partly due to my plans for the day.

I'm meeting the author of a book I have been reading while I have been away. He also happens to be a good friend of mine. This is going to be weird. On one hand, he is the same person I have known for ages, but on the other hand, he is the person who has, trans-Atlantic-ly, via the newfangled medium of 'written word', told me an interweaving story of 2 friends, one of whom has a very special attribute.

I am also inclined to link to his blog, as he is in the process of writing a second book; I found his old blog for the first book (called 'With his Head in the Clouds' incidently) very interesting to read, detailing and involving the thought processes of [a mad man] writing a novel.

To change the subject now: I am also quite angry, as, being the Star Wars geek I am, I didn't realise that Force Unleashed would not see a PC release along with the other platforms. However, having read about some of the glitches and bugs (in red), I'm happy there is some grace period between platform releases. Game ending bugs will always outweigh the games positive points, and from the sounds of it, they are quite severe. On the bright side, FFIV is on order, so will have plenty of time to get my teeth into it.

Time to go find more stuff on the interweb to kill another couple of hours...
