September Safari?

So as John mentioned the new official dotGif website is up and almost fully functional, and very monochromatic, not that that's a bad thing.

So John should now be somewhere near bat country (lets hope he doesn't stop there) on his holiday which means the keys to the blog are all mine till he gets back, mwhahahahahaha e.t.c.

So while he's gone I'm going on a minor power trip and laying down a few new ground rules. The first of which is in the new united soviet social republic of dotGif there will be no mention of anything made by Sony, EA, or George Lucas/Star Wars. More will follow in time.

In web news it seems apple are launching some "new" products (for new read old products with a new hat) I'm not sure if I'm really interested in yet another new version of the nano, but if the ipod touch v2 with the reduced price brought about by the cheaper iphone 3g parts is launched I may be interested.

Google have decided to likely split the internet in 2 by launching an open source browser. So will it embody the best of the firefoxs open source community developed approach with the backing of the one company likely o be able to rival MS for userbase, or will it signal the first of a new dark emperor, Darth Google's, offspring to have the worst of firefox and internet explorer?.
